The tipped their hats to him, disappearing into the servant's passageways.

Christine came down to see that everything was in order.

"Would you like to go upstairs and get cleaned up?"

"I would, thank you. I brought a change of clothes. "

She smiled.

"Then shall we?"

She turned to lead the way up the stairs.

He followed carrying his clothes. ,"so out of curiosity you are treating me rather well given my sect. At some point mere cash and family will cease to mean anything. How can I aid the family and this city in return ?"

She smiled.

"It is simple. You cannot until you get yourself situated in this century. So I will help you do so, and in return, you will help me at a later date."

"That I can understand. Miss McCade was kind enough to show me a few things about computers and cell phones. Would it be possible to meet the rest of the family at some point ?"

"Soon. Though I believe the only one you have not yet met who is in the city is Anton."

He nodded. "I would appreciate an introduction when it is convenient also I would like to discuss a business idea I have broached to the brujah whip and Mr maynard. "

She smiled.

"After we have slept, perhaps."

"That would be good " he smiled

She led the way in silence after that, up into the west wing of the house, opening a door onto a beautifully appointed bathroom with a large bathtub.

"You're room is just across the hall. I will see you in the morning."

"Thank you " he said while walking in. "Have a pleasant night. "

"Pleasant evening."

And she would head back the way they had come.

After cleaning up, he went to bed and awoke with the sunset.

The house was already bustling, though Christine was no where to be found for the first hour or so.

Johnathon found hid way downstairs and worked on some notes.

She finally breezed into the room that he had found himself in.

"Mr. Grant. I hope you found your rest pleasant."

"I did, thank you" he said while standing up as she entered. "I can truthfully say that was the most comfortable bed I've been in since about 1908 when I left Tacoma."

She smiles.

"Good. Now, I must ask, do you feel the need to feed?"

"At the moment, no. I fed fully before coming over last night."

She nodded.

"Very well. Then shall we get down to business?"

"That would be most agreeable" he smiled while sitting back down.

She moved to sit at another chair, where she pulled a notepad from a drawer in the table next to it.

"So, what is this proposal?"

"A brewery in LaBelle. I've taken up residence there along with a Gangrel by the name of Blake. I'll spare you the politics, but I'm looking to build a stable business not only for myself, but also to give a bit of boost to the local economy in the interests of maintaining herds so to speak. I feed from blue collar workers almost exclusively. Anyway, the idea is to create a microbrewery at first, something that employs a dozen or so people, plus the residuals from distribution and the like. Once that takes off, expand it as much as is economically feasible, with an aim to service area and regional bars and grocery stores."

"I spoke with the Brujah whip and Doc Maynard rather by accident, but mentioned this project in the hopes of gaining her support and an ear to the Prince to ensure I am basically left alone politically. They have expressed an interest in seeing the business plan once I have it completed. At the moment, I am looking to secure office space, having found a suitable location, that lacks only a legal identity and business to purchase. Once settled in, I can begin in depth work on drawing up the plans and proposals for a small brewery, as well as locating a consultant or two who is knowledgeable in that trade."

She nods, pen moving swiftly in short hand.

"Very well. I can help with this. There will be much that needs to be done."
