"Yes I noticed that, but then again you've already got my clothes." leaning against him "and me."

He grinned. "Ya ain't that heavy, darlin."

"Funny Charlie told me the same thing." shaking her head "I helped him pick out his piano."

He laughed. "That was a compliment, darlin."

"I know all 5 foot of me is dense." with a chuckle yes humor again.

He laughed. "Ain't a problem. I'll get it through ya head one of these days just how much I like ya."

"You know you seem to good to be true at times to me." softly and wistfully stated.

He looked over at her, surprised. "Really? I thought this was how all men were supposed ta be."

"No not at all, maybe in some romance novel." with a truth to her words that says at least for me.

He laughed. "Well, now, supposed ta be an' really are tend ta be two different things. This is how men ought ta be."

"Well then I guess all women are to be constant damsels in distress." looking up at him with an amused look, and a slight smile for him.

He laughed. "We like it like that."

"We'll here I am." gently bumping into him "Needing rescued again."

He leaned over to kiss her gently. "An' here I am, come ta your rescue again."

She kisses him back "Good because I seem to call on you first."

He laughed. "I dunno if that's good or bad. Good that I can help but bad that I'm that predictable, I think."

"Well it's good for me" pausing looking at her phone frowning "He he he visited Cassie too." whispering to him and starting to shake again.

He frowned. "What do ya mean? Where's Cassiel?"

She pushes to call Cassie "I don't know where she lives." listening to it ring.

He nodded. "Let's go pick her up, too. An' while we're at it, I'm gonna phone a friend of my own." He pulled out his phone and pressed a few buttons.

"Cassie where are you. Well come to the tower and go with me and Jim" she says in reply looking at Jim as he makes a call.

He was tapping keys on his phone. But he nodded. "Yeah. We'll get ya taken care of."

"Come to Rourke tower. Jim and I will be waiting. Come to me." she says firmly. Leaning harder into Jim, the soft shake of fear starting to pick up intensity again.

He wrapped his arm around her as he continued to tap keys, sending text messages. He moved toward his Jeep, but seemed content to wait. "Tell her to bring some clothes an' her favorite things, too."

"She's just driving' covering the phone looking up at him.
