"I've never made it there. Anything you won't do?"

He looked thoughtful. "Lotsa things. Depends on what ya mean. Like, give examples of situations an' all."

"Just seeing if there was some universal NO GO for you." looking at him and thinking "Any city officer positions you wouldn't do?"

He smiled. "Not a damn one. Don't want tha responsibility an' shit."

Her face lights up, "Exactly." with a soft laugh "Sorry...."

He looked over with a laugh. "Huh?" Then he smiled. Started to measure the mirror. "There's certain things I just won't do an' shit, but I've come ta find out I've got lower standards an' shit if tha situation's right."

She nods, sitting on the bed watching him work, "It's an answer." with grin.

He smiled. Started measuring more. Pulled out a pencil to mark the wall lightly. Kept working. "Anythin' else ya wanna know?"

Greer laughs "Why is it a one time moment you'll answer me?" laying on her belly on the bed, still watching him, and softly humming.

He looked over at her. Confused. "What ya mean? I always answer ya when ya ask me things."

"Exactly, I don't have a prepared list, and it's just what comes up in my head at the time." with a shrug at him.

He smiled. "I just ain't shy darlin."

"I've noticed." with a smirk at him. "Why do you spoil others?"

He smiled and shrugged. "I like ta. So much bad shit in tha world, 'specially with Kindred. Somethin' good. Somethin' nice. It helps, ya know?"

She nods her head yes, her features briefly go scared, and then back to normal "It is a nice change." faintly said and then shaking her head looking at him "But I guess I should get a simple silver car one that looks like everyone elses."

He shook his head. "Naw. Ya get what ya wanna get. Don't be like everybody else. Scared of ya own shadow 'cause somethin' bad might recognize ya. Dunno how old ya are. But ya've been given a real long life darlin. Live a little."

She looks at him "Well, I really do want the purple convertible with that logic, but I don't want raked over the coals if something does notice the car." still watching him.

He shrugged. Kept measuring. "So long as ya don't break tha Masquerade it ain't ya problem."

"I don't and I am never a problem...." pausing for a moment "Ok usually never a problem."

He laughed. "We all got our derp moments."

"Our what moments?" looking at him confused.

He laughed. "Derp. Like duh. Or silly or dumb. We all got moments."

"Yes yes we do...." rolling on her back looking at the ceiling "Silliest thing you've done?"

He smiled. "Silly in what way? Stupid human tricks or silly in the playin' pranks way?"

"Silly in playing pranks sort of way" sitting back up and looking at him with a sly smile.
