Going Out (open)

"Okay that's the impression I had gotten from him, I don't think he's dating material." she said softly and lowly leaning towards Miyu.

She smiled, fondly.

He's not a bad guy to date. It just didn't work so well with us.

"He seems possessive or possession type." she said softly while still watching the bar.

She shook her head and typed on her phone.

Not really like that. We just have some fundamental differences that could not be gotten through.

"But you stayed friends from what he says and you too." with a smile at her.

She smiled.

You don't stop loving someone just because you realize that you cannot be together romantically.

"Friends are friends no matter what, but I've seen far to many break ups that the couple couldn't be even remotely civil. So hats off to you." with a raise of her glass of water.

She lifted her own drink and grinned.

Emotions are stupid.

"Oh I agree, that's why I like organized relationships." with a soft chuckle then went to check on others and then came back after filling her water glass.

She looked confused by that.

Organized relationships?

"I'm pretty blunt what I expect and don't expect in a relationship, most can either deal or they don't." with a smile at her.

She nodded, understanding.

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure what that phrase was actually supposed to mean, other than maybe a business relationship.

"No I'm pretty picky and if they can't deal with it, then I'd rather be single." with a grin at her.

She grinned at that.

Not many have that sort of self-awareness and self-confidence. Good for you.

She meant that.

She laughed "Well I've been alone a long time" with a smile at her. "But I'm in a good relationship now so it was worth the wait."

She nodded with a bright smile.

Good for you. Everyone deserves to be happy.

"I agree, so anyone special in your life?" with a curious look at her.

She shook her head.

No. Unfortunately, not many men are willing to deal with a lady who can't speak.

"Well they are a fool. You are beautiful and smart. That maybe scaring them off more." with a nod to her.

She laughed silently.

Thank you. For the compliment.

"It's the truth." with a smile at her, "And that maybe scary to the average guy."

She smiled.

There's nothing scary about me.

Ha! See? She made a funny.

Ali fought the "Yeah right" comment she wanted to say, and instead said "Ladies with brains are always dangerous."

She shook her head.

I don't even understand that.

Ali laughed, "Hey I scare guys and I'm just a bartender." with a grin at her.
