She laughed silently.

It's truly my pleasure. You're a delightful young woman.

Ali blushed, "Thank you." taking a drink of her water "It's nights like tonight I wish I could drink and work but then I'd start to make horrible drinks make bad choices and wind up doing silly things - so I go it's best if I stay on water." with a grin at her - and - you could tell she was joking - the oh if I smoked joke was coming next as her back up went to go smoke.

She laughed silently again.

I am impressed by this place. I had expected it to be much less reputable than it seems to be.

"My boss cleaned it up, I try to keep it clean and so no longer strippers named Easy J." with a shiver as she said it. "But glitter I swear is still in this place, some nights I go home and I have no clue where it came from."

She grinned.

Where I am from, I think that is referred to as 'raver scabies'.

"Fairy herpies here." with a grin.

She laughed silently.

I will have to remember that and use it on someone sometime.

"Please by all means do so." with a nod to her.

She grinned again.

Thank you. I like learning new phrases.

"I can't remember the striper comment about it ... If I remember I'll share that one too...." trying to remember the phrase.

Her brow rose.

You have strippers here?

"Had strippers before my boss took over." with a nod to her. "Since then it's just a dance club."

She nodded, understanding.

Oh, good. I was afraid that I had misjudged this place.

"Not at all but we keep finding glitter in all interesting places."

She laughed silently.

That is an inevitable thing, though.

"I'm very happy my guy isn't jealous because I think he's found glitter on his clothes from mine, due to the laundry machine." with a grin at her.

She grinned.

Does he like to sparkle?

"Not necessarily or unexpectedly." with a chuckle "but in the end all things were worked out."

She grinned.

At least he is understanding. My ex would not be so charitable.

"Really? Who's your ex?" she spilled out before she could take it back, she didn't mean to pry but Miyu was so mellow she couldn't imagine someone not understanding some misplaced glitter.

She shook her head.

I doubt you would know him. His name is Victor.

"Oh has one eye and walks with a cane?" she said curiously well there was only one Victor she knew.

She seemed surprised.

Yes.

"I didn't realize you were dating. But he stops by here sometimes and we've chatted." nodding to her.

She started to shake her head emphatically.

No, no. Not dating. We broke up a long time ago. Now, we're just friends.
