Disco Dancing (open)

He pulled around the back of the pub and smiled.

<Gaelic>"All right. I figured that there was probably a back way in, I just didn't know it."<>

His brow rose at that as he parked the SUV around the back of the pub.

<Gaelic>"You don't have any security on your apartment?"<>

<gaelic> "not yet. i wasnt living alone until recently. and I havent had any issues at my apartment except from some crazy arse who called himself King Raven. seriously, some of your lot are just crazy....." she says, shaking her head. though she specified at her apartment, implying she had issues at the pub
<gaelic> "but its on my list. not that i think it would stop any of you"

He smirked a little at that.

<Gaelic>"You might actually be surprised. Would you like for me to walk you up?"<>

<gaelic> "Surprised by what? THe number of you that are crazy or the fact that security systems would stop you?"
She pauses <gaelic> "If you would like. I did promise coffee"

He smiled and got out of the SUV, moving quickly to open the door for her.

<Gaelic>"Both, I guess. Not many of us care to run the risk of getting caught. But there are a few brave enough or stupid enough to just not care."<>

She hops....well more like slides....out of the SUV, starting to root through her bag for keys <gaelic> "Heh, well it seems like 99% of the time to attract the crazy and stupid." she comments as she fishes some keys out of her bag. She starts flipping through them, finding the two she needed.
She goes over to the back door, first using the wrong key, then finding the right one and opening the door.

He was polite. His hand at her elbow to help steady her if she seemed to be ready to fall over or have trouble with her balance. He walked respectfully behind her, making sure that they weren't being followed -- Kindred or mortal alike. As she struggled with her keys, he just stood there, waiting for her to get the door unlocked. Not hurrying her or rushing her in the least, though he did chuckle at her words.

<Gaelic>"You would think that, as timeless creatures, we would have the knowledge of the world inside of us. Most of us are still just stupid."<>

She laughs. <gaelic> "guess some things dont change with time. men are still idiots no matter how old. no offense"
She locks the outside door behind them then leads him up a set of stairs to another door that she unlocks and opens. She doesnt walk inside right away, glancing around a moment like shes making sure the place is empty before walking in and shutting the door behnd them.
they are quickly greeted by a cat that she scoops up and starts petting. She says a few things to the kitten with feral whispers oddly enough before going to the kitchen to make some coffee
<gaelic> "make yourself comfortable"

He followed her upstairs, then started to chuckle. Once inside, he found a comfortable-looking place to sit and perched on the chair.

<Gaelic>"Men are always going to be idiots. It is in our DNA."<>

<gaelic> "Well at least you admit it." she says, standing there a moment as she tried to remember how to make coffee. She finally got it started after far longer then it should have taken normally. She comes back into the living room while it brews, kitten still in her arms. <gaelic> "This is Jack by the way"

He chuckled and reached out a hand to give the cat a few gentle scritches between the ears.

<Gaelic>"It's a pleasure to meet you, Jack."<> He said it aloud, not with Feral Whispers. That could have meant anything from he didn't know how to do it or nothing at all, as though he just didn't care to use powers at the moment. Either way, he spoke aloud to the kitten. <Gaelic>"Besides, I have to be honest about it. I know better than anyone that men are stupid. My girls tell me that often enough."<>

She plops down on the couch as he pets the kitten <gaelic> "OK.....daughters. How does that work. I mean, they arent your actual daughters right?"

He smiled.

<Gaelic>"One of them is. She died when she was only four. Through some magic and close friends with odd powers, she was given body and soul once again. The other? Well, that one is adopted, not by me, though."<>

He smiled.

<Gaelic>"I cannot. Not personally. But some of us can, yes."<>

He chuckled.

<Gaelic>"No, not really a 'normal' thing. Those who can do such things guard their secrets pretty well."<>

<gaelic> "Ok, that makes sense I guess." she pauses <gaelic> "Heh, between bring people back and time travel is there really anything you guys can't do if you really wanted to"

He smiled.

<Gaelic>"Oh, but there's one thing we can't do."<>

She arches an eyebrow. <gaelic> "oh? whats that?"

He smiled.

<Gaelic>"Have a picnic on a summer afternoon with someone we care about."<>

She thinks about that a moment. <gaelic> "I guess that doess suck"

He chuckled.

<Gaelic>"If you like picnics, it sucks quite a lot."<>
