He winked and moved onto the dance floor with her.

"A' least this be fun."

"Aye. Very much so." she replies with a smile of someone who is incredibly tipsy

He was more than happy to help hold her upright, dancing with her even though she was tipsy and probably having a little bit of trouble holding a rhythm.

what she lacked in balance and rhythm she made up for with effort. she was at least having a good time

That was all he cared about. She seemed to be having fun and so was he. He led her in dancing for at least three more songs before he nodded his head toward the bar and smiled.

"Another drink?" he asked her over the music.

"Depends, are ye tryin' ta get me drunk?" she jokes with a laugh "Aye, another drink would be good"

He laughed and started to lead her toward the bar.

"Aye, miss, I be most definitely tryin' t' ge' ye drunk."

Might as well be honest about it.

"Bu' like th' nice man tha' I am, I intend t' see ye make i' home safe."

That counts for something, right?

"Aye? Well then.....bring i' on." she replies with a laugh.....probably being far too trusting of someone she barely knew.
"Hope ye can afford me tab" she adds with a large grin

"Well, if I can't, I'll jus' wash th' dishes until i' be paid off."

He snorted quietly.

"I do th' dishes....."

"Well then, ye are a rare one" she jokes, ordering another whiskey

He chuckled and ordered a whiskey for himself as well.

"Aye, well. Sometimes, there's jus' too many dishes an' no enough hands."

"I dinna come cheap, ye should know."

"no, I suppose ye don'. but I can be *very* persuasive....." she retorts with a very charming smile

"Wha' did ye ha' in mind, dear?"

she chuckles. "can' give away all me secrets can i now...." she replies in a good natured joking manner

He chuckled.

"Ah, a girl who likes t' ha' a bit o' mystery abou' her. Smart."

He started to sip from his glass. Sip, slowly and carefully. Because that's how he dealt with whiskey.

"So, wha' d' ye d' for fun?"

"Well....." she says, taking another sip of her whiskey "....when Im no' ou' drinkin' an' dancin' wi' a scottsman I like ta brew me own beer."
