An akward introduction

He tilted his head.

"Sooooo, why not go for child psychology? Kids are so screwed up, you'll never have a shortage of work."

"Well you make it sound so easy but Professor Lawrence would beat me if I didn't go into linquistics." with a soft laugh "If I changed my major that is. And other than tying me up and convincing me it is the way to go, I think I'm to set in my blah course of action." taking a smaller sip as she realized she had drank half the second drink so far.

He laughed and shook his head.

"Children speak German, too. And French, Italian, Spanish... there's not a whole lot to changing your major, other than filling it with psych courses."

"And ... that's counseling so it's a Liberal Arts course and I am again making 20K." with a laugh and look at him. "No offense don't think I can do the medical Psychologist path."

He shook his head.

"You'll make 20K for about two years. Then you get your own practice and make $400 an hour."

'You are far more optimistic then I am." with a soft chuckle and shake of her head. "I'll think on it how's that?"

He laughed.

"It's your life. I'm just tossing out ideas."

"Yes but now I have to stop and think." with a soft laugh. "Just trying to please a lot of people and not me I guess." with a smile at him. "But at the same time for now, German lessons. So when should we next meet?" with a mischievous look at him.

He smiled.

"Wednesday at 9?"

"Sounds good to me." raising her glass and toasting him. "Anything I should bring?"

He smiled at that, lifting his own glass to toast her.

"Just yourself and a notebook to take down notes."

"Then I shall be there with bells on." with a huge smile at him and a sip of her drink. She slowly leaned back, with her eyes still meeting his and holding his gaze.

Unlike many men his own age, he didn't have a problem meeting her eyes -- and letting his gaze stay there. He smiled again.

"I'm going to hold you to that. And expect bells when I see you."

"And what happens if I don't have any bells?" keeping the eye hold, curious as to his answer.

His lips twitched.

"I'll come up with a suitable punishment for disappointing me."

She leaned towards him "I'll hold you to that." with a smooth sensual smile as she spoke her words.

He grinned.

"Because you have known me for an hour and know I'll do it?"

"I think you just might, but more often then not as of late it will be another disappointment." she said honestly.

He laughed softly.

"Then you should want to work hard to be not a disappointment."

"What if I want to be one?" with the same sexy smile, eye contact and watching him carefully.

"Then our association would end, rather abruptly."

She laughed "Then your in luck, I'm an odd over achiever." with a smirk as she kept the eye contact. Her pointer finger still gently rubbing the last of the salt from her glass.

He laughed softly.

"Well, that's good to know."

She slowly licked the salt from her finger, taking her time then softly said "I like to please."

He laughed softly.

"Good thing I'm easy to please."
