Robert thumbed through the newspaper and found a couple ads that caught his attention.

He dialed the person with the recliner first, because damnit. He wanted a recliner.

"Hello?" It was a female voice.

"Hey" he said in a friendly tone "Calling about the recliner you have listed for sale?"

"Oh! Yeah," the woman said. "What about it?"

"Still got it? I'd like to come take a look if you do"

"Yeah, we got it." She rattled off an address for him.

"Be there in about 20, thanks" he said as he ended the call, before driving out to the given address

There were toys in the front yard, two little boys climbing on playground equipment when he got there.

Robert got out of his truck and made his way to the front door and knocked

A woman answered the door.

"Can I help you?"

"Hi" he smiled "I'm Robert, I called about your recliner earlier?"

She nodded and held out a hand for him to shake.

"I'm Becky. Come on in, it's in the living room."

"Nice to meet you Becky" he smiled while shaking her hand, and coming in to look at the chair.

She brought him into the living room so that he could look at the chair.

He sat in the chair and tried it out.

"Yeah, I'll take it " he said standing back up and taking three fifties from his wallet

She nodded and smiled.

"Sure thing. You got a truck to take it out of here?"

"Yup" he smiled

"If you can give me a hand maneuvering, I think I can muscle this thing out fairly easily"

She nodded.

"No problem. Thanks a bunch for this."

"Not a problem. I needed a chair, it worked out."

He squatted down, and got a good grip on the chair and lifted it a bit off the ground, looking like he was struggling with it some. "Awkward more than heavy, can you get the door?"

She hurried around him to open the door and keep it held open.

"Yeah, no problem."

"Thanks" he said as he sort of shuffled it out the door and into his truck

"No problem. Have a good one!"

"You too!" he smiled and waved while securing the chair and getting back in the truck

She waved and called the kids inside -- then shut the door behind him and locked it.
