Stalker distraction - movies! (Cass, open) - Sunflower Beach

"Baby, I think you are the most positive person I know. Honestly," she smiled sweetly to Teddy. "How do you do it?"

She seemed to think about it for a moment and then shrugged her shoulders again.
"Some things are worth being angry or upset about, but few are worth it in the long run" at least not if it concerned herself. If it concerned her friends and loved ones though, all bets were off, but that was different.
"Besides, I've already gotten to experience a few firsts with the love of my life. That matters more. And they've sure as Hell been a lot more memorable" she added with a soft laugh.

"Good memories are hard to come by sometimes. It's so wonderful that you've had the opportunity," she snuggled up against Teddy with a smile.

"Elevator was a good one actually" she giggled, untangling her arms from behind her head so she could snuggled Cass. Then again, so had the car.. and the beach.. mm and that same evening as the elevator at the apartment.. oh, her first-first time didn't matter. Because all the memorable firsts? Those she'd had a chance to find with someone she loved. And more so with Medwyn than her only other real lover. Because he, while she'd loved him, hadn't been her soulmate. Medwyn was.

"Sounds like it," she giggled. "And how goes business?"

"Mmm, I need more arms" she held up both arms. "I got a waiting list to cover the next nine months easily"

"9 months?!"

"Hey, I work slow alright? And I make everything from scratch so often I spend a month just finishing one project" and that was if she was lucky.

"No, no, no! I'm just so happy for you! To have that much work already. Go you!" she beamed.

"Pays the loan" not that they actually had a loan. Most of Teddy's capital had been in the bank prior to buying the house, now, a fair bit of it was in the house. Which was a much nicer way to keep the money really.
"Means I can stay" she smiled, because that was actually her biggest use for money. Having a job meant she could stay.

"Those were the words I wanted to hear," she pulled Teddy close to her, wrapping her arms around the bubbly Caitiff. If Teddy wound up having to leave? Well, she would have been spending time convincing Alex to pack up and move, too.

Oh, but she wouldn't have left. Medwyn had made her promise that already and that was before they'd become as serious as they were now. Because now? The only thing that could possibly make her leave, was if Medwyn wanted to move.

Teddy cuddled her friend with a happy smile.
"Not going anywhere. Home, family, love of my life.... annoying pets" he added with a giggle and a happy smile. "I don't want to leave"

"Did you ever think you'd find what you needed in America?" She turned her head just enough to look at Teddy softly, giving her a squeeze.

"Heh, I thought I'd find inspiration, adventure, you know, the usual adrenaline rush" she chuckled. "I wasn't really aware I needed this" she'd wanted it, but, she hadn't been aware how badly she'd needed it. "I... I didn't think I'd ever find this... find a part of my soul I didn't even know was missing until I met him.."

"Souls are tricky things. You never know if it's whole until..." She smiled at Teddy.

"Until you find it in someone else's eyes..." someone who'd looked at her and called her perfect... perfect for him.

"Well now you've just convinced me of something," she chuckled softly.

"Oh?" blink blink.

"Yup. We must have been separated at birth," she nodded, really as if she were serious.

"At birth and with a few decades in-between" she giggled, but nodded none the less. "Though I think you might be right"

"Oh, c'mon, I was better suited for the thirties anyway," she smiled. "The teens and twenties were filled with too many uptight aristocrats and not a whole lot of fun. Prohibition sucked," she grinned.

She got an arched eyebrow and a smirk from the blond.
"Nineteenthirtynine" she said. "Could you pick a worse year to be born in?"

"1939 did suck," a lot. Like... so much... Though for the two of them, it was totally different reasons.

Well, actually, she could think of a few other years which would've been worse. You know, the ones that made you old enough to have to fight when the war broke out. Say, Medwyn's age...
"It did" but she wasn't going to dwell on it, wasn't good to dwell. "But, we're still here. We've been lucky"

"Extremely. We really have been extremely lucky. It kind of puts things into perspective."
