The next night - Johnathon's Haven

"Do you think she was an unwitting dupe?"

She shook her head.

"No. She knew what she was doing, even if that bastard made her forget."

He nodded and stroked her face. "I'm sorry love, I'm so very sorry. And the worst part is she doesn't know, which makes it even more horrible. Here, let me wash your face, give me a moment please."

Johnathon gently released her and soon came back with some wet and dry towels and started to clean her face of the dried blood.

She let him clean her up. And it didn't look like she was going to start crying again any time soon.

He wrapped the blood stained cloths up for her and put them aside before taking the little nos into his arms once again

"You poor dear. You must have gone through hell when she showed up"

She curled into him.

"I hate her so much. And she doesn't even know. She acted like everything was fine and Griselda and I....we had to get away."

"Who is Griselda?"

He sighed "This is a difficult thing since she doesn't even realize why you hate her... and I've no legal reason to kill her, so making her life hell is the way to do it. Would Jamie perhaps banish her, or not let her in his domain?"

She smiled.

"Griselda is Ra'idah. Sorry. And I don't think Jamie will do anything like that."

"I don't think I want to know the story behind the name and face change. Well, I have to let her roam freely here too, because of my deal with Jamie. We each allow each other's people to travel without interference. Let's go back to breaking her. You are a goddess, let's start filtering her money away, slowly. I'll find some interesting places for it to go."

She smiled.

"I'll have to find it first. But where would you put it?"

"Charity" he said innocently. "Here and there, scattered about. Oh, and I know how to start finding it. She considers cash so... common. You know she actually bowed to me in Elysium? Pull that tape and pass it off to the harpy, a cammie bowing to an Anarch baron in Cam land. Most amusing. Anyway, she will 'accept' cash as a partial payment on one weapon. I'll write her a check and you can follow it."

She smiled and kissed him again.

"You're the best."

He scraped her neck with his fangs before kissing her. "Ventrue. Of course I'm the best. They breed us you know. Except me. I'm too good to be bred."

She purred.

"They broke the mold."

"Yes" he smiled. "Wait. Expensive shirt. Shirt off, fangs out." he grinned while removing his shirt and suspenders, before grasping Raz0r close, and burying his fangs into her shoulder

She cried out, shuddering under his fangs.

"Johnny."

All things considered, he understood that reaction even more than normal. He held the kiss and razor for several minutes before releasing her and healing the wounds.

"Shh " he said softly petting her. "Shh"

She curled into his shoulder, kissing and tasting his skin.

"Thank you."

He smiled and nuzzled at her. "Gotta come through me to get to you, and I can muster ventrue and rabble alike. "

She nodded. Then sank her fangs into him with a possessive growl.

He grabbed at her and hissed in pleasure as her fangs entered his flesh

She released after a short time, licking the wound closed. Then she just rested against him.

And he held her close, softly stroking her face, and just being there for her.

After some time, she finally spoke.

"I really don't deserve you."

He smirked "Hush. My clan always acquires great and rare treasures, and you are my greatest."
