The Aftermath (Michelle) - Emily's Home

"Interesting, I already have immortality and my own abilities, so it would be kinda pointless anyway." She shrugged and pulled out a business card.

"He was wearing a top hat. This was the card he gave me." She said handing it over.

"If you can talk to ghosts there's a place where this young girl got brutially murdered. A witness said a 'bat flew away'. I'm thinking it's supernatural, demon or maybe vampire or something. You wanna help me look into it?"

She took the card, looking it over, with brows furrowing. "Grant." she muttered. Eyes floated up to her. "You went looking for a Kindred, and found one, love. We call his kind.. Anarchs. They are part of what is wrong, with the world. Desire nothing but selfish wants and needs. Trying to upset any attempts are order... balance... control."

She shook her head. "You mentioned vampires, in front of him? Tell me what happened, please... the whole thing." She seemed obviously concerned.

"He was a vampire? Man...I knew it!"

"Uh, I found this big hulking dude in the graveyard, he scared me. It seemed like we might have come to an understanding, but then Johnathon came and inturrupted. Maybe it was for the best. He called the giant 'young man' though. Which I thought was weird."

"He got it out of me I was looking for vampires to talk to ghosts and he said he had a friend who might help. So he gave me his card and said to come by and he'd give me a job. Goodness knows I needed a new one."

"I don't really need it now though." She said smiling.

"He was really nice. I like the things he said. Maybe we could work with him?"

"Work with him?" Michelle scrunched up her nose, but didnt exactly protest. "Grant does not think, like you and I. He does not actually care about helping others. ONly cares about helping himself... lining his pockets with money on top of money, probably to start unnecissary conflicts." She shrugged. "If you want to meet this man, Mihr... you need to drink, from me" she looked pretty gravely serious. "I dont think just saying you are my ghoul, will be enough for him. His kind try to be cunning. They try to have all known routes, already mapped out and planned."

She sat up. "I dont know what my blood may do to you, but I will never ask you to drink again, if you dont want to. But I worry, whatever he has up is sleep. I dont know what friend he wants you to meet... but he has some sort of plan. I can promise you, that. You wont just be able to lie, to this one. He will probably see right through it." she seemed throughful. "I should come with you, as well... just to be certain.. if you wish to meet him."

Emily looked worried. And nodded.

"Uh, ok...I'll feel better if you come." She clung to Michelle like a scared child. "I can't believe he's a vampire...how stupid of me."

"So, how do I drink it? Just like...from your wrist or something?" She looked a little weirded out by the idea.

It was kinda funny, one moment Chelle needed to be helf by her, the next, she was holding Mihr. Pretty comical, in a way.

Michelle nodded. "From the wrist, might be the most simple way." she nearly whispered. She held Mihr close, as wrist was brought up to her own mouth, first... an extended fang pulling open a small slice in her skin. "YOu can close your eyes... it SHOULD taste good... but not sure how you might react to it." She frowned a nervous frown.

"As for not realizing... everyone makes mistakes.. even angels." she giggled a little bit. "We just have to make sure you survive, this one."

"Uh...ok." Emily blushed and closed her eyes and poened her mouth.

If it was bad for her, she could just purge it from her system. What would it do to her? Maybe this was a bad idea. Michelle wouldn't do it if she thought it could be bad.

Michelle... had no fucking clue. Not a single drip drop, of what might happen. But it was a risk that needed to be taken... because the task ahead, might be a daunting one.

The wrist was brought up to the girls lips, then placed upon them..

Michelle looked upon this, with uncertain eyes, and a nibbling of lower lip. "Drink all that you can, withou feeling overfull... if anything seems wrong.. please... stop."

Emily nodded and started drinking. It tasted like death to her. She gagged took a deep breath and tried again. She could only suffer through about a point of blood before needing to stop.

"Ok, did I drink enough?" She said sticking her tongue out. She didn't feel sick once she stopped drinking. She felt fine. Normal even.

"How do we know if it worked?"

Michelle just slowly shook her head. She had worried, the whole time the woman had draink. She frowned, now that she was done.

"I have no clue, Mihr. I am hoping that the blood being within you, is enough, to throw others off your scent." she signed. Licking her wrist clean and closed, her fangs retracting.

"That's amazing." She said, grabbing her wrist to look where the wound was.

"I feel ok, so, I think we're ok." She hopped up and stretched a little. "So how can they tell? Just so I don't have to lie? I'ma terrible lier." She admitted.

"Some are... very perceptive. They can touch, and know things... I cant explain it, in a way that makes sense. SOme... are just able to tell. That is why I asked you to drink, so you dont have to lie." she nodded, then chuckled about her wrist. "I can only heal the wounds that my fangs inflict. I WISH I could heal the wounds, of others."

"That must be very useful." Emily said pleased that Michelle seemed to have everything she needed to drink from people without hurting them.

"Healing doesn't seem like something I would think vampires could do, since your bodies are dead. The more I learn about your kind, the more amazing you seem. I don't think my fellow fallen really understand you guys."

"And that, is where all problems seem to stem from. Fear of the unknown." she shook her head. "I refuse to allow myself to shed a single bit of fear, for anything I dont understand. I will simply seek to understand it, then catagorize it appropriate in my list of things that are and are not okay to touch." she grinned a bit... hand raising and dancing fingers across the woman's cheek. "You are pretty nice, to touch... "

"I am willing to show, and explain to them, all that I can. Maybe in doing so, it can help us better understand and work with each other, for this mutual goal."

Emily blushed again. "I think that is a good way to live. I'm so...scared all the time though. Emily feared everything and now, so do I. I hope they will want to meet you. Maybe a good alliance can be formed between our people?" She could be so innocent sometimes. In many ways, she was just a girl.

"Maybe... though it is unlikely. Kindred are many. Those you meet, in the future, within this domain... are not even a fraction of those that are out there. Trying to befriend kindred as a whole... likely will not happen. But a dedicated few... I think is a strong possiblity. And from there, perhaps we can branch out... expand... and maybe... just maybe... come together in larger numbers, to make a real difference."

She smiled heavily, at the thought.

"That's what I meant. I just know both other fallen I met didn't seem to have the story straight about you guys. I couldn't speak for everyone. I have no idea how many of my kind there even are."

"Grouping up is the only way we are going to make a big difference.." She nodded and returned the smile.

"I agree, one hundred per-cent." still with the soft caresses against her cheek, adoringly. "Now... as for this... Giovanni thing..."

She hmmm'd a bit. "You wanted to speak to a spirit? I -might- be able to help with that. Tell me the details, and we will go from there." Time for a position change, yet again. Michelle puller her hand away, and arranged herslef in such a fashion that her head could rest upon the womans thigh, or lap., looking up at her. "Do you have or know where the body is? Please.. as much details as you can provide."

"I was at this diner. This old man came in saying he found a body. I came out and there she was behind this church across the street. Big gash in her throat and chest, she was almost torn in two. The old man, granted he was kinda confused, said that 'the bat flew away' when I asked him if he saw something."

"The police took the body away, but I can show you where it happened."

She slowly shook her head. "I need a name, love. Or the body, itself. Or... an item, that belonged, to the deceased. Without one of those things, there isnt much I can do... nor could the Giovanni." she seemed apologetic. If your Fallen friends could gain me access to one of those things, I could give it a try. Otherwise..." no need to finish the sentence, it had already been said.

She sighed, pondering something. "When were you supposed to meet with Grant?"

She groaned. "Like, two nights ago."

She was disappointed that a location wasn't good for Michelle, but it made sense. If only she had brought herself to search the body for a name. Surely it would appear in the papers though and then they'd have a name. There were plenty of reporters there.

"Want to go meet him now? Get this over with? I can call Kelly to come watch over Sarah, as we tend to it?" Her head tilted, quizzicaly, though she did not yet move her head from the girls lap... ust looked up to her, waiting for the answer. "If you do not show, he will like go hunting for you. Ventrue get pissy when they do not get what they want, how they want it, when they want it." she smirked a touch.

"Sure we can go now. What's a ventrue?" Emily shrugged. "I feel bad I didn't go when I said, but I think we had more important things to deal with." She said with a smile.

"Ventrue is the family of Kindred, he is. Just like my family, is Lasombra. He and I are very similar, in our family histories and typical natures. I should be able to get him to react and expose his true intentions, to you." she sighed... why? Because she had to get up.

Up she slowly sat, reaching across to the TV stand and pulling her phone up to her ear. A few moments later, she spoke. "Kelly, darling. I need you to do me a favor. Come to the Hilton... room 121. No... dont speed. Yes... yes. I know... see you soon, darling."

Emily hopped up and stretched. She went to the bathroom and threw her hair up in a ponytail real quick.

"How many vampire familys are there?" She checked herself out in the mirrior, good as it was going to get, she thought and then came out to wait for Kelly.
