She gave a very unladylike snort.

"Are ye goin' t' stop me?"

And at that she couldn't help but chuckle.
"I don't think I could even if I'd wanted to" the blond smiled. "I'm not really good at that sort of thing"

She nodded.

"Good. Cause I'm goin' t' take care o' ye both."

The bottle was put away on the counter as Teddy jumped off, landing silently on naked feet.
"Thanks" she smiled softly. "That means a lot, you know"

She wrapped her arms around the girl.

"I ken tha'."

The blond leaned against her with a smile and wrapped an arm around her in return.
"I hope I'll be able to be a useful part of this family somehow. Not just be the one everyone have to look after, you know?" she smiled.

She nodded.

"Ye'll find ye're place in th' family. Promise."

The smile told her the Caitiff really hoped so.
"Thanks. If all else fail at least I can be the comical relief hm?"

She nodded.

"Aye, lass."

"Then it's all good" she chuckled.

She smiled.

"Anythin' ye wish t' ask ye're new Great Grandmammy?"

"I uhm..." she seemed to think about it for a moment before answering somewhat embarrassed. "I honestly don't know..." the blond smiled at her. "I don't really know what to ask. I' better at answering questions than I am at asking them heh.."

She laughed.

"There be nothin' ye wish t' know?"

She smiled and shrugged her shoulders.
"I really don't know.. sorry" the blond said with an embarrassed chuckle. "I guess... I guess I'd like to know what will be expected of me?" urg, she was bad at this sort of thing. "I've kinda never been part of a family like this... for a short while, some time after I was embraced, I did have a family of sorts but I wasn't really able to be part of it like I am now, because of what I was, what I am... so you'll have to bare with me I think"

She smiled.

"Lass. Ye love us as we love ye. Tha's all tha' be required."

"Mm.. then I really got no questions I need answered" Teddy nodded. "That's all I really need..." she smiled at the Gangrel.

She smiled.

"Good."

See? Some things were simple, and that, int he Caitiff's mind, was simple.
"Like I said though, anything I wanna know about me ask and I'll tell you. I just, well, I know enough about you guys to know I'm part of the family" she said softly. "So that's all I need"

She smiled.

"Aye, lass. But if ye ever ha' questions, just ask. I ha' seen a wee bit o' history."

Teddy nodded.
"Yeah I reckon you're... a fair bit older than me" she laughed softly. "Hell, Medwyn's older than me" she smiled at her.

She laughed.

"I be near two thousand, lass."

The blond just... blinked. Blinked and stared because that was much much longer than she could really even phantom.
"Wow..." yes she know that made her sound stupid but it was the instinctive reaction to the Elder's words.

She nodded.

"Tha' be th' one most important thing t' understand. I will nay e'er react th' way ye will expect."

And just because she felt she had to?
"I was born in -39..." so yeah, she was young for a kindred, younger yet compared to someone like Grace. "So I'm a kid heh.." at least next to her.

She shrugged.

"Ye're family. An' ye're nay a dumb kid. I dinna care when ye were born."
