First Date (Dima) - Marcus' Apartment

He grins widely, letting the heavy drape fall down as he's spun "Yeah. I've been working on it for awhile now, but I didn't wanna say anything until I could do it. Kinda like, not wanting to get my hopes up for something that wouldn't work in the end." He rests his head against Dima's chest and sighs happily "And I can work at the hospital again. And...just, all sorts of great things Dima. It was one of the reasons I wanted to see you tonight actually. Aside from missing you, I wanted to celebrate with you love."

"I am so happy for you," he said nuzzeling Marcus's neck.

"But this isn't celebrating..." He said looking down into Marcus's eyes, "I will take you out later this week and show you celebrating." He grinned widely and dropped a kiss onto his lips.

Marcus' eyes light up, squirming beneath the playful nuzzling, returning the kiss for several languid minutes before drawing back and sighing in contentment "Sounds like fun love. So, you start it off. What's your question" he asks, resting his head against Dima's chest.

"What is your favorite color?" he asked, starting off with a simple question as he sat down on the edge of Marcus's bed, then laying back pulling Marcus down with him. Rolling to his side he shifted them so that Marcus's face was even with his own, so that he with his dark eyes could look into Marcus's light. A smile on his lips, his hand reaches up to caress Marcus's cheek.

Marcus actually lets out a small giggle as the pair rolls around, ending up face to face. His eyes soften, seeming to become luminous in the gentle blinking blues and whites of the christmas lights "Mmm, a color for every occasion is my personal motto, but by and large, I've always been a fan of midnight blue. So dark, it's almost black, but in just the right light...." he smiles, chuckling

Dima smiled, leaning forward he kisses Marcus's lips, just barely brushing his lips against his. Pulling away he opened his eyes which had fluttered closed, "It is your turn to ask me a question." he reminded him. Fingers continued to trace down the side of his face and along his neck. His gaze moving over Marcus a light seemed to brighten his eyes from with in.

"Is that how this game works?" he asks with a playful smile. "And if I was being naughty, I'd say it was your turn....but, as I'm a good guy" A smirk forms on his lips "What's the name of your first pet as a child"

"I was maybe seven when my father gave me my first horse, before that age the children had to ride in the vardo, the wagon. Or with someone else. This horse was tall, so much larger then me, a roan. His face, though was a dark russet." Dima's eyes took on a far away look as he spoke.

" We were in Italy when my father purchased him, so I gave him an Italian name... very creative mind you. I named him Rosso, so that he would always know I was talking to him. Since he was Italian after all." Dima smiled a moment, "Rosso means red in Italian." he explained.

He chuckles "Pretty name darling. It's easy to see how Spanish originated from italian, as part of the romance language family. I've actually never ridden a horse. Always thought I'd have time as a human, then never thought I'd have the chance again as a kindred." He lays a hand on Dima's hip, trailing it up and down the firm, smooth flesh "Your turn love."

He nodded as though filing that information away for later. "What are you sad that you missed out on in life due to being embraced?" he asked his hand brushing down and along Marcus's shoulder then arm as he spoke. Seeking out this young man's hand as he did so. His lips thinned slightly as if he was aware he might be asking a delicate question.

But not really that delicate, as a grin twisted up his lips "You know...I think it might have to be ice cream. Of all my indulgences, there is nothing better then a pint of cookie dough ice cream at the end of a long day. Get into your comfy wool PJ's, throw on a classic black and white movie like Casablanca or Some Like it Hot...and you were set." He laughs, scooting a little closer.

He smiled at the simplicity of the reply, of how different his own response had been when he had first been turned into what he was now. How he had weeped, Dima shivered slightly at the ghost of an old hurt. Then pulled Marcus closer for comfort, his lips once again gently caressed his, a sweet kiss, something to remind him of the here and now.

"It is your question." he said with a smile, his lips a fraction of an inch away from Marcus's.

Marcus leans in and kisses Dima, accepting the silent invitation, wrapping his arms around the mans waist and pulling him tightly against his own body. There is nothing hurried or rushed about this, as though the had all the time in the world and he didn't want to rush "Hmm, that's a tough one. Part of me wants to ask something sexual...cause you turn me on like no one else in the world." he grins, stating as he pulls back finally "And another part of me wants to ask you something serious, because you mean the world to me. So for this question, I'm going to have to ask "Tell me about your best memory since being embraced. Something, that no matter how many years it's been, you still see it in such crystal clear detail." Marcus reaches down and grips Dima's ass gently, then relaxes his hold, simply caressing

"The very first child we took in. She was a baby, just weaned and starting to eat solid food. Her name was Arrabella, she had dark hair, that curled just so... and dark eyes." he smiled as he recalled it.

"She used to suck on her fist, and then wave it at you. I carved her a small wooden horse for her to play with, when she was teething, she was such a happy child." he sighed softly.

Maruc pulls one of Dima's arms beneath his head and rest it upon his bicep, looking up at him with luminous eyes "Somehow, I knew it would involve children, love." he says softly, affection and warmth in his eyes "Even now, I can see how your eyes light up when you talk about her." With a free hand, Marcus reaches up and caresses Dima's cheek lovingly "You're question love."

"Tell me have you ever traveled?" He asked reaching up to caress marcus's face his thumb running along the young mans lower lip. He smiled, not with his lips but with his eyes a he watched and listened to Marcus.

Flashing a pair of perfect teeth, Marcus grins and nips playfully at the thumb, mimicing the sounds of a dog with a pull toy. After a moment, his tongue swirls around the digit slowly before pushing it back out "Traveled, yes. But not extensively, nor as much as I would have liked to." his hands trail back and forth over Dima's hip, enjoying the feeling of the smooth flesh beneath his hands. "What is the longest you've ever stayed in one place before?"

"A year, maybe two." he replied openly as he watched Marcus's reaction carefully taking in his full measure.

He pauses, then asks, "Have you ever been in love or been in an open relationship before?" he inquired.

He nods "I've been in love before. It was unreciprocated but that's alright. It taught me alot about life. And yes, once. I was with a guy who liked other guys. It was something that I couldn't give him, so I let him wander, but I was very clear to tell him that he was allowed -one- guy to play with. We were all very close."

He arches a brow, looking at the man across from him. "A thousand and some years, and this would be a first for me... but you speak of it with your modern ideas as though it isn't a big deal, as if it is common place." Dima shakes his head, as he realizes his age is showing.
