Fantasy - Mercedes - The Loft (Mercedes)

She lost her words in the kiss, slightly perturbed that he had used it as a way to silence her concerns. But the action did soothe her, as she conformed to his body and allowed herself the closeness she craved.

She cuddled into him, still on a high from the experience. "I love you Chase."

She traced her fingers across his chest contently. "It was nice of you to come see me."

A smile graced her lips. For a while she simply lay there, taking in everything. Eventually though, she got up to gather her clothing up from where it lay.

"Well..." She thought, pulling on her shirt, "We should probably check on Mike. He should only be a little way down."

"I don't think he'd leave without saying something." She said, approaching the door and waiting for Chase to follow her.

"He said he wouldn't though..." She said, taking his intent over his actual words. He'd promised he'd take care of her here... but then again, if happened to know Chase was here, he may have gone already.

Mercedes humphed all the same, displeased with Mike for not keeping his word to her. "That's Mike..." She sighed, "And he's the one who drove here."

Mercedes returned the smile, seeming at ease now that he was here and they were leaving the carnival- no harm no foul between them. "Alright." She said, reaching out to take his hand.

It took her a minute, her mind assuming that Chase had simply let go of her hand. She toyed with the car keys loosely, bringing her eyes up to realize he wasn't there whatsoever. Panic struck her then, an ill feeling settling over her. "Chase?" She called out, looking around wildly. "Chase?" Turning back around, she eyed the entrance before striding back in, looking for her domitor. As she entered, keys clutched tightly now, butterflies flitted in her stomach. "Mike?" She called out tentatively.

Watching as she went, Mercedes retraced her steps back toward the booth and room they had been in.

She eyed the house before her, having been positive this was the way they had gone. "Hello?" She called, unsure if anyone was manning it.

"Yes, I think I'm a little lost. Could you direct me?" She asked, describing the room and booth they had been at, along with the man who had greeted them inside.
