The thing Robert had changed into gazed at her with intrigued eyes. The gravely voice emitted from him once more, "Oh... Now this is interesting. A real button is it?" He chuckled joyously. He took a step forward, careless of the danger. "Shift back and I will follow suit, but either way I want to play. In this form or any other." He smiled down at the little cat as he took another step forward. "Choose or I will choose for you."

The large...thing....lumbered forward and grabbed for the cat, who was helpfully pouncing. He was able to grab hold of her, and as she struggled to break free, she was held tight.

The large thing tried to crush the cat, but she broke away.

The cat turned to bite the man who didn't move anywhere near as fast as she did. But her first bite missed, and her second just grazed him.

The cat attempted to dodge as the lumbering monster came in again to grab her. She failed, and found herself held again. But her quickened blood allowed her to break free after just a small bit.

This time, the creature struck a blow. The cat tried to dodge, but wasn't successful.

As she Large Creature made contact, the cat's ribcage caved in, piercing her heart, and driving the last of her blood from her body. She was barely able to move, but she was beginning to become insubstantial as she crawled away from him.

The large creature lumbered forward, turning back into Robert as it did so. In front of his eyes, the cat turned to Mist.

"Teagan, wait. I want to talk, there seems to be a misunderstanding.". His eyes are wary, but honest. The smile on his face was warm and compassionate, his tone earnest, he didnt want her to leave with the wrong impression.

The mist floated up and away not stopping for a talk if any kind.

Robert stood naked watching the mist float away before shaking his head and wincing in pain. Looking at his shoulder he noticed the incredibly deep scar and sighed. Walking over he grabbed the scattered remnants of clothing, both of theirs lying in tatters. He looked them over before sighing again, his thoughts drifting inward.

"Great idea Frank, thanks a lot." The words were whispered almost to himself before he vanished from sight.

Time to deal with the fallout.
