"Dis de point where ah say ah like trouble?"

"Beh ah weakness ah mine, je pense."

"Now ya juss tryin'teh make meh blush."

He grunted again, but he smiled. Even while looking away, it was clear that he was smiling.

She laughed softly. Happy knowing she could make him smile.

"Ya always confuse meh, in de best way. Likely would be loss to de woods if ah 'adn't metcha."

"Sometimes I worry it's still where you'd prefer to be."

"Only if ya were wih meh."

"Ahn so ahm I."

He grunted again, looking at her. Head tilted to the side. She was still confusing to him. He clumsily, in the socially sense, ran a finger along her face.

She closed her eyes, enjoying the simple touch.

She was as he remembered, but even still, one, then a second finger traced the bones of her face, the ebb and flow of the flesh, recalling it.

She had stopped breathing. There was no need, not here. A soft smile lit up her face as his fingers traced over her skin.

"I'm glad you back." his fingers roamed through her hair, then along her eyes, her lips.

"Glad to be back." She sighed softly.

She had said she was in no position to claim others. However, the reverse was not true. His fingers curled into her hair, forming a fist for a moment, perhaps even pulling before he stopped himself.

He wanted too, but at that moment it did not feel right. So instead, he merely nodded at her words, letting his thick fingers unravel from her mane.

"After I talk to Orie." She said softly.

Obviously not the respond he had expected. He actually looked at her, curiously. "Of course. I was actually sorry I was pushing."

"I just need to know she's on the same page."
