Cannot Stay Away Forever (Charlie) - The White Tower

He propped one foot up on the table, allowing a hand to slowly trace through her hair with a light touch while his eyes focused on the book he'd opened up. Shakespeare by the looks of it, more accurately Titus if she recognized the work.
The book looked old, though well taken care of and unless spoken too chances were he'd easily sit there in silence and just enjoy himself while she rested. His fingers every so often catching a lock of her hair and playing with it.

Cass became as still as the grave very quickly, but her smile never faded. Cuddled against him, she was content.

He'd simply let her rest like that for as long as she wanted to while he read. Not that he didn't already know the story by heart, but every so often it was nice to revisit some of the dozens upon dozens of books he'd collected over the years. Because a perfect memory did not substitute the feel of a book.

Charlie could more than likely get through the whole book if wanted. She was really good and worn out. No complaints, of course. Everynow and then she let a soft groan escape her lips.

Well, if she was that tired he'd let her rest a few hours before carefully placing the book down and scooping her up into his with a gentle touch. The youth kissing her cheek with a smile as he carried her upstairs to the bedroom so she'd have a chance to be more comfortable.

"You smile in your sleep" Charlie whispered with a smile of his own as he placed her down gently, not really sure if she could hear him or not but not really minding either way.

Thete was no expression change. Just pure bliss, even in her motionless sleep. She'd be grareful later that she was allowed to sleepover. Besides, waking next to Charlie at night was pretty damn nice and thoroughly enjoyable to boot. Marvin was right. Unlife was good.

Whatever became of the Brujah the rest of the night was anyone's guess really. Though when the Rose awoke the next it would be with the youth curled up next to her with her arms around her, holding Cass to her chest with one gentle hand entwined in her hair while the other rested at her shoulder where the scratches had been.

Whatever Charlie had been up to it didn't show at least, as the youth's expression was simply one of relaxed sleep.

Cass awoke slowly, stretching ever so slowly, still with a smile on her lips. More smuggling was required. The woman holding her was just too damned sexy not to touch. Cass' hands slowly caressed down Chatlize's arms before wrapping around her waist. She leaned in to kiss her softly and slowly, not in an attempt to wake or disturb, but more out of the fact that she was completely irresistible.

And there she stayed. Humming a very soft melody to Charlie. So soft it was barely audible.

It was a little while still until Charlize stirred, blinking lazily a couple of times before slowly opening her eyes as a smile spread across her lips at the sight and feeling of Cass still next to her.
"Evening, gorgeous..." the youth whispered, stretching and arching her back like a cat that had just woken up from hours of sleeping in the sun. Letting her arms fall back to rest on the pillow above her head.
"Sleep well?"

"Mhm, very well."

She gave the woman a squeeze and a light kiss before rolling onto her back. Her hands rested on her chest as for a moment, she simply stared at the ceiling.

"You, Charlie? How did you rest?"

Case pulled herself up, sitting with her knees to her chest, head on her knees as she looked at the Brujah with a serene expression. Her hand instinctively went for her shoulder, feeling the healed skin there.

Seemed the Brujah was thinking the same thing as she reached out with a gentle hand to touch Cass' shoulder and hand lightly.
"I got to curl up next to you" she smiled as if that answered everything,t racing her fingertips gently across the now healed skin.

"And it's Charlize when I'm like this" the youth gazed up at her with steel blue eyes as her fingers drifted slowly down the Rose' back. "If you want that is. I'm mostly used to Charlie anyways" she said, still letting her fingers dance across her back.

"Charlize," she repeated back softly as she peeked at her over her shoulder. "I think that is a beautiful name," she smiled. Her cold touch made Cass shiver just a little. She blew her a kiss.

To which the Brujah smiled as she leaned in and softly touched her lips to the Rose's back. Slowly letting her lips trace across it as she sat up, causing the covers to slip aside and fall down to rest at her hips while she leaned gently against Cass. Her lips moving to her shoulder as her fingers traced down the woman's arm with a light touch.

"I'm glad you like it" the youth smiled.

"I like you," she smiled, leaning into her touch. She ran her hands down Charlie's arm to her hand, tracing circles in the back of it lightly. "I must have been tired if you had to bring me to bed. You're very good, you know," she smiled, watching her out of the corner if her eye. "You deserve a reward."

"Oh...?" she looked up, pressing her teeth, though not her fangs, lightly against Cass' shoulder for a moment with a smile.

"You do. But it will have to be a surprise," she chuckled. Cass reached her hand back, resting it on the side of her neck.

The youth leaned into her touch with a content sigh and kissed the side of her neck again as she moved her arm around her and pulled her back sloe to her own chest.
"I'll be looking forward to that surprise of yours then..." Charlize smiled.

"I best start to work in it, then."

She leans unto Charlize's chest, striking her shoulder and neck. She turned her head, trailing kisses along her collar bone.

"Training with your favorite macho Gangrel this evening?"

"Mmm.. every evening" she smiled, pulling Cass back down onto the sheets with her with a happy smile. "It's good though. Helps me toughen up a bit"
The youth brushed her fingers through the Rose's hair, biting her lip softly as she watched her. Enjoying that soft touch.
"I try to keep on his good side though..." because she honestly did not need to feel his claw a second time.

Cass curled up, head on Charlize's chest and taking in her scent and feel if her skin with a light touch. She trailed her toes up her leg gently.

"Good, then I have some time to set things up for you."

Charlize drew her breath softly and bit down gently on her lip, gentle fingers still playing with Cass' hair.
"Mmm, now you go me curious" she smiled. "Any way I'd be able to make you tell me hm?" the youth added with a soft chuckle as her fingers touched the Rose's neck while still playing with a lock of her hair.

"Oh, you could certainly try, darling," she chuckled, kissing the Brujah's neck where it joined her shoulder and brushing a hand over her stomach.

"But why not stay in a state of giddy anticipation?"

The youth's lips parted in a soft sigh of pleasure under her touch, closing her eyes with a smile.
"I can wait.... for a while" Charlize grinned happily, slowly opening her eyes again and tilting her head slightly to the side.
"Though if you stay like this much longer I might find my self control failing"

With lips still pressed against Charlize's skin on her chest, Cass grinned and cast her gaze upward to her.

"Wouldn't want that, would we? And I don't think I am a plausible excuse for you to use with Mat," though the Cass had no trouble tempting the slender youth anyway, grabbing her gently by the hips and tracing her lips down her stomach.

"But at least you'll have something to look forward to, right?"

The youth drew her breath again, gazing down at the Rose as she reached out to touch her cheek,brushing her fingers against her skin as she arched her back under her touch.
No, she wasn't a valid excuse when it came to Mat and the Brujah much preferred keep her skin still part of the rest of her body. That didn't mean she had to go right away though.

"Yeah...." she bit her lip. Something to look forward to.
