| "Yeah?" Cass' head went to the side as she raised an eyebrow. Fingers slid down the youth's legs and then brushed back up as she blew cool air over her skin. "Something truly sweet it will have to be then," she smiled, looking pensive as she kept up the contact with the lightest of touches. | |

| Steel blue eyes didn't stray an inch, seemingly locked on her a the youth brushed her fingers across Cass' cheek again, looking very reluctant as far as the whole idea about getting up and going out to get her ass beat by a Gangrel went. Specially if she was going to look at her like that. "Sounds good..." Charlize whispered. | |

| "What's wrong?" She was empathetic enough to pick up on her look. She inched her way back up Charlie's body, watching her carefully. She was almost sure she knew the answer, but asking never really hurt. | |

| "Nothing's wrong..." Charlize answered quite truthfully, following her every little move with her eyes. Lips gently parted as she eased a lock of hair from the Rose's face and smiled. "Nothing at all..." | |

| She smiled, her expression quite determined as she climbed up and rested her hands on either side of Charlize's head. She leaned down and kissed her sweetly. When she pulled her face away she shook her head.
"Then get up, lazy bones. I need to arrange a few things," she winked.

| A soft moan escaped into that kiss, the youth returning the touch with soft lips before opening her eyes to gaze up at her again. She stayed like that for a few moments before a smile spread across her lips as her hands grasped Cass' hips, pulled her against herself and quickly flipped them over so to place herself on top of the Rose.
"Lazy...?" Charlize smirked, leaning down and scarping her fangs against the woman's chest with a soft breath. "Mmm...."
But she didn't bite. Instead she pulled away with a soft chuckle and moved to get out of bed. "Don't turn the place upside down alright?"

| "Me? Turn this place upside down?" She grinned, rolling to her side as she watched Charlize get out of bed. She didn't bother pulling the covers back over herself. She leaned her hand on a loose fist, touching the fingers of her free hand to her lips.
"Don't worry, sugar. I won't nudge a thing out of place... for the most part."

| "Oh, I'm not OCD about my things like some, but yes, try to keep it somewhat organized at least" the youth chuckled, moving like the lazy cat she was to the adjoining bathroom and turning on the water in the shower. The door was left open though, allowing the steam to roll out and across the floor before fading away as the sound of Charlize stepping into the shower could be heard. | |

| The cat was tempting, leaving the door open like that. Cass moved on the bed just enough to be lying on her stomach sideways as she stretched, watching the steam roll out and into the room before pulling herself up and to her feet as she sauntered over toward the bathroom, leaning in the doorway and watching as she tapped fingers to her chin.
Planning was very fun indeed.
"Do you have a favorite flower?" She asked over the sound of the running water with a hint of curiosity.

| She had her back against Cass as she shampooed her hair. "Favourite flower?" the youth arched her back and moved her hair in under the hot water to rinse it. No, she didn't really have one. "Poppies" she said though, remembering the ones she'd planted on Sam's grave. "I always liked poppies" that was at least true. | |

| Cass made a mental note as she watched, the smile lingering. "Poppies... An interesting choice. I'll have to remember that. But no real favorite flower? Hmm..."
She left the doorway with a light chuckle to herself. Charlize, of course, probably wanted her privacy... And the scheming Toreador's head was... well... somewhere else. She stepped out of the bedroom without getting dressed. Clothing, in her mind, was optional at this point, anyway.
Downstairs, she pulled her phone from her bag and started looking up a few things here and there as she got herself a drink.

| "No real favourite" came the smiling reply from the shower before Cass headed out, leaving the youth to finish her shower in silence. She took her time though, seemingly not in much of a rush as she washed her hair twice before being pleased with the way it felt and stepping out of the shower to dry herself off. What took the most time though was the wrapping, and chances were the Rose would be coming back up stairs before Charlie was finished with it as it took her some time to get it right. And anything less than perfect was not acceptable.
Having changed into jeans at least, the youth stood in front of the full length mirror in the bedroom as she worked on the bandages, having turned it into a near art form by now.

| Cass was good, giving Charlize time to become Charlie. She seemed to understand how exacting it had to be. She pulled a shirt from her bag-- another long t-shirt, of which must have made up the majority of her wardrobe-- and put it on after finishing a bit to drink.
She did go back up the stairs, but it was for a cigarette and a look at the view. She liked the view from the balcony nearly as much as she liked Charlie-- which is saying something.
Maybe it was something about the balcony, the night air, the clock or... perhaps just the view itself. But something about it made Cass think with clarity. But she was still scheming. Still plotting.
How could she implement her plan for Charlie in the most precise way? Perfection was key.
While that's cat's away, the Rose would play.
She left the door open just a bit as she thought. Poppies...
"Safe to assume you like red..." She said it a bit louder than she thought as she took a drag from the sweet clove.

| "I do" Charlie said as he stepped out on the balcony with a smile and walked over to her. He was in training clothes, a headset around his neck and an mp3 player most likely tucked into a back pocket from the looks of it. "Although red definitively suit you better than it does me" the youth added as he reached out and cupped her cheek with a soft hand that gently eased in under her chin and lifted it slightly. "I really do stand by that" | |

| "I'll have to add a little to my wardrobe, then," she smiled, bringing her lips to his to steal a kiss from him.
"As long as Mat doesn't give you anything... red... to come back here with."

| He returned the kiss with soft lips and a content smile. "You worry too much, Cass" the youth winked as he pulled back, his hand slipping away from her as he tilted his head to the side and tucked his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. "I'm good at landing on my feet. And I have no intention of pushing my luck with the Gangrel or his pets" | |

| "Yeah, I know," she nodded. The reminder wouldn't make her stop worrying. In fact, the worrying was just... worse.
"Then," she shrugged. "Just have fun. If you can,' she smiled to him.

| "I always do" he said, backing away with a smile as he put his headphones on. "Keys are on the counter by the way" he added with a sly smirk and a wink before finally, almost a bit reluctantly, turning away and heading out. "See you later"
And if Cass went to see? She'd find the keys to the car there. Just in case she felt like taking it for a drive while he was out.

| "See you," she replied softly, watching him go.
Oh, and the car would so be driven...

| And when Charlie returned, it would be obvious that the car had been used, as it sat in a different parking spot. But it seemed as if the place was dark, only a soft glow coming from the top windows.
The moment the elevator opened into his apartment, the smell of something sweet and floral filled the air. Small, electronic candles were placed in strategic places all over to light the apartment just enough. A trail of red rose petals lead first to one of the sofas where more petals sat on upon clean, satin-y material, red sheets that were folded neatly. The petals then led to the table on which sat a small, clear vase filled with poppies that seem to have been freshly cut and arranged into one giant bloom. Next to the vase was a small vial of cinnamon oil-- more than likely for his own personal use.
The petals then led up the stairs, one or two petals on each step along with one of the electronic candles on each step as well. The trail led to the bedroom first and onto the bed, which had been stripped down. The pillows had their covers replaced with the same red material that the sheets were made up of. On the bed was a white box with a crimson bow.
Again, the petals led to yet another room, tracking back and down the hallway to the large bathroom. Electronic candles littered every surface, flickering for ambiance. Steam rolled lazily off of the water, which was filled with fragrant majoram oil and a nice smattering of luxurious bubbles. And very soft music of the jazz era played, but was heard just barely on the edge of perception. More poppies in small clear vases sat around the tub. And on the small table they had used for cards with a chilled glass of blood-- more than likely from his own stock from the fridge-- simply waiting for him.

| His initial reaction when the elevator doors had slid open had been to stop and simply stare for a few moments before slowly, carefully stepping inside and looking around as a smile spread across his features. He followed the trail that had been laid out, the smile seeming only growing wider as he stopped and picked up the presents with a gentle touch before heading upstairs where the petals and lights would guide him.
Reaching the bedroom he lingered for a little while, placing the sheets on the bed and the small vial of cinnamon oil on the nightstand before gingerly picking up the box that had been left there for him. He eased his fingers along the edge of it but did not open it right away as the trail of petals had yet to bring him to his destination.
And the bath.... oh, it would take him days to get rid of that smile on his lips. The youth eased a finger along the edge if the glass before placing the box down next to it and taking the invitation for what it was, and invitation, as he shed his clothes and the wrapping and sank into the water with a sift content sigh of pleasure.
Now this... she reached for the ribbon wrapped box, careful so not to get it wet as she opened it... this she could get used to.

| In the box, under red tissue paper, came the feel of smooth, silky material. However, the item inside was not red-- it was black. A black satin-y robe. It may not have been the highest quality, but... Charlie already had seen how Cass lived-- relatively no frills and by no means a lot of disposable cash. But it was the gesture that counted. The material would still feel nice on his skin. Her skin? Oh... that didn't matter at all.
A small, pink colored card rested on top of the short robe that simply read, "You're overdue TLC. ~Cass"
Beneath the robe and toward one corner was a small box. It was a simple digital camera with no added accessories other than an extra memory card. Nothing off the wall or expensive, but again... It was the gesture that counted.

| Each gift was gently inspected with a light touch and a pleased smile before carefully being placed aside on the table so not to get wet. Although the card? The card she kept pinched between two fingers as the youth sank down into the water a little more. Looking up at the little piece of pink and the writing, she smiled, letting one ling slender leg dangle over the side if the tub.
Big, small, the Rose was better at this than she was probably aware no matter what the Toreador might think of the gifts herself. Because the Brujah's expression suggested that she was more than a little pleased by it all.

| "So was it worth the surprise?" Came Cassiel's soft tone from the doorway. She had stepped toward the doorway, leaning against it and looking inside as Charlize held the card in her hand. She had cleaned herself up, hair down in soft curls around her shoulders. But unlike the Brujah, Cass was fully dressed in a simple spaghetti strapped, red dress the came down mid thigh. She watched with a hopeful expression. | |

| The youth's head turned in the direction of Cass' voice as she spoke up, the expression across her face saying mire than words could hope to convey. "So definitively worth the wait" Charlize grinned, gently placing the card ontop of the gifts. "This... is lovely Cassiel. Truly wonderful..." she said as her steel blue gaze drifted across the Toreador's forms and outfit. "Almost as lovely as that dress wrapped around your curves" she shifted around so to rest her arms in the edge if the tub and her chin in her arms. "You'd look good on my sheets in that..." | |
