Drowned (Charlie) - Gilded Cage

The youth followed her lead with a smile, light fingers moving across the keys as per her instructions. Stopping once in a while to ask about a little detail or two, seeing as the little details were important. All in all, he seemed genuinely interested if nothing else. Careful to repeat things until he got it right.
Perhaps he might actually have a talent for it?

"Now your turn solo." with a grin at him.

"By myself? Yes, thank you, that'll be quite horrible" Charlie laughed before doing as she'd said and replaying the short piece to the best of his ability. Seemed he was quite good at remembering at least because while played far from perfect, he didn't miss any notes.

"See almost a natural." with a warm smile at him.

"Or just good at memorizing" he smiled. "Perhaps with some training though I might pass for adequate" he added with a soft laughter, lifting a hand to brush a stubborn strand of hair from his face.

"Both are good skills." with a grin "And dryer in hall closet." with a shrug "Who knew."

CHarlie laughed, flashing her a genuinely amused smile.
"Who knew indeed" he chuckled. "The jacket's a goner anyways but at least I'll have dry pants for when I go home" he got to his feet and flashed her another wide smile and winked before turning to grab his clothes from the bathroom and then moving to the dryer.

It still had the brand new paperwork and seal on the dryer. And she could be heard playing softly as he went about his business.

Guess she really had been telling the truth, the youth smirked to himself as he set the program and straightened up, walking silently back to the room and stopping as he reached the door, if only for a few moments to listen to her playing.
Amazing...

Charlie walked up to her again, stopping as he stood behind her. Watching the movement of her hands across the keys while listening to the music with a smile to his lips.
"Beautiful... just beautiful" he smiled.

"hey watch a movie or talk?" with a smile over her shoulder at him while her fingers finished the song.

"Either sounds good with me"he smiled, tilting his head to the side as he met her gaze with steel blue eyes.

"It is not my nature to make decisions." with a shrug "So really make a choice or I'll bore you with my playing." with a smirk at him.

"Well then that makes the choice easy doesn't it" he smiled charmingly, a warm tone to his voice. "Please... I don't think you could bore me with your playing if so it was all I got to hear for the next hundred years"

She smiles at him, then turns and starts to play .

The youth listened in silence with a lingering smile, seemingly allowing himself to get lost in the music for a moment. A soft sigh passing his lips as she ended.
"Lovely..." Charlie smiled at her, allowing a hand to come to rest on her shoulder with a light touch. "You're truly talented.." he said softly.

"You were warned." and she keeps playing for a bit more.

He really did seem capable of loosing himself in the music, the smile continuing to linger as he simply enjoyed her playing for as long as she would indulge his love for music. The youth would pull his hand away though, taking a seat next to her instead as he followed her movements with alert eyes that would, every now and then, drift from her slender hands and smooth movements to her face, to watch her expression with a smile.

It wasn't until she stopped playing that he spoke again.

"If you'll let me I'd love to be able to learn from you... if you don't mind me coming by now and then, that is? Although I'm sure I could get a piano at my place if you rather come there. I don't want to intrude"

Greer looks at him "I'd love to teach you, this piano is here why not use it and I'd be honored to teach you." gently bumping against him and looking at his eyes.

A light tilt of his head caused a couple of locks of hair to fall into his face as he met her gaze with a warm smile.
"No, truly My Lady, it would be my honour to be taught by someone as talented as you" the youth said softly.

"Flattery you are full of it..." with a slow smile at him "so what do you have to trade me." wtih a mischevious grin at him.

"Flattery perhaps, but true none the less" he smiled invitingly. "As for what I have to trade well mm... I don't know what you would like, though you need only tell me and I'm sure I can get it for you.."

"I don't know what you can do my dear." with as sly smile at him.

He really did like that smile of hers.
"You'd be surprised.." Charlie grinned. "Truly, just tell me what you desire..."

Greer looks at him "I can't think of anything right now...." looking at him truly perplexed.

"Well, think about it for a while. I'm fairly decent with linguistics, perhaps I could teach you a new language? I'd offer you some lessons on fighting but hands such as yours really shouldn't be forced to be used for such things and besides, considering the amount of time you've spent wiht my father I'd be surprised if he hadn't already showed you a few tricks" the youth added with a soft chuckled.
"Of if there's something else you rather have from me? I'm really not that hard to ask..."
