Finally, a bounty worth something has come your way! While I know that you tend to use your skills upon the mortals, I have an interesting proposition for you. It was recently decided that one of our local Lunatics was to be put under a Blood Hunt.

For the breaking of several Traditions, the hunt was called upon one Mister Maltin.

He, of course, has disappeared. Who wouldn’t? So sad, actually, that one so esteemed as he should have the Hunt called. Especially since he so recently had been given the position of Seneschal. Perhaps the leaders here in Seattle are no longer as wise as they once were?

I would take this as a Major favor, darling Renata, if you would use those amazing skills of yours to hunt down Mister Maltin and take care of that issue for us. Sometimes, it’s good to be well-connected.

Ren will, of course, do her due diligence thing - checking with her Mentor on both the names (unless she knows them herself) and the situation.

Assuming that checks out she'll try to get as much info on the runaway Malk - including (thought it may be difficult) a picture.

She'll be getting in contact with the HArpy as well...just after she does the basic check on things.

The harpy is a Ventrue - with status coming out of his nose, actually.

Maltin is a former Seneschal in Seattle, with the rumors that he goes by two personalities: Harvey, which is the quiet and shy one, and Mr. Maltin, who is the wise, political one. There was a stink a while back about Maltin having had something to do with a Prince in Seattle - though the involvement has never been made clear - and by all accounts, it seems he is heading north, toward Canada.

Any descriptions of the man - or any mask he might use? Particularly for the two personalities?

He is typically well-dressed, wearing gloves and glasses when he is Mr. Maltin. When he is Harvey, he looks like a nerdtastic librarian - right down to the tweed suit jacket, very timid and avoids eye contact.

Happy to have traveled a lot with Mat...

Make some calls to people she knows gently inquire if he's been around - see if she can get an idea on if he's really headed where the rumors say.

Your friends keep coming back with the same thing ... they haven't heard or seen anyone with his description.

There is one friend who does tell you that, from what they know, Maltin was really, really friendly with some Nosferatu, so there's a good chance he may have gone underground.

Not a bad plan for someone who's being blood hunted.

It is quite sad to hear of the hunt being called on someone who so recently held such an esteemed position. It is particularly disheartening when one learns that several of the Traditions were broken by the person in question. I can only imagine what might have driven him to such acts.

I will certainly do all that I can to locate and deal with Mister Maltin.

Never really determined who she knows where.

They tell you that they've not seen Maltin, but that they can keep an eye out for him in case they do, then give you a call.

Can I get a common sense check here before she sends another message to Tonne? I feel like I'm missing something.

If he went underground with the Nosferatu, there's a very good chance that you won't be able to find him without bribing some Nos.

Damn. That's been my concern. She doesn't really have the contacs for this, and Razor is the only local nos she knows.

Could try and bribe her. Or 13 ... hahahaha!

Dear Harpy Tonne,

It appears that our Mister Maltin has headed north into Vancouver where it is likely he has gone underground with the Nosferatu. I was able to confirm this tidbit of information with one of our locals. It is unfortunate that he was so quick to slip into the underground. It is certainly much more difficult to track him given his likely hiding place.
