| When Raz0r came to fetch Vinnie, assuming she did so, she would find the apartment quiet with no sign of the dog. At least not at first.
The place was tidy and clean, nothing out of place even with the drinking the ghoul obviously done the night she'd died.
Some paperwork could be found on her work desk, some of which were legal papers pertaining to the garage which she seemed to have been in the middle of sorting, some were papers pertaining to her belongings. Those had been taken care of though, things having been signed over in Raz0r's name, or alias heh. There was a phone book as well, the page having been turned over to a funeral agency with a few things scribbled down: "single plot, plain gravestone, Roscoe, no year".
The girl had meant to clean up after herself sort of speak. Because the world wouldn't stop for her passing. And at the very least she'd wanted to go out without leaving behind a mess.
As for Vinnie, the most important thing in her life, he could be found laying on the floor in the bedroom where he'd dragged a small locked wooden box out from under the bed which had been made but not slept in. Not even by the dog.
He'd been chewing on the box which looked old.

| She came for the dog shortly after taking the ghoul's body home, to gather the dog and take him home. When she found him, she knelt next to him, resting her hand on the back of his neck.
<beast speech> "What is it, love?"

| The dog pawed at the wooden box again with a small whine. "Don't know, she always kept it here" he replied. "She's not coming back" Animals sensed more than humans could. Seemed the mutt realized he was on his own. | |

| She hugged the dog.
"No, she's not coming back. You'll come and live with me and Ein."
She reached for the box, carefully. She didn't want the dog to get defensive.

| The dog didn't move more than to lift his head as he watched her pick up the box.
It was made of wood but had nothing special about it. It looked slightly worn and old, but didn't appear to be of any real value.
Lifting it, she'd feel that it contained something. Probably several something as suggested by the weight and the feel of something shifting to roll from one side to the other when picked up.

| She kept an arm wrapped around the dog as she easily broke the lock and opened the box for them both to see what was inside. | |

| The following items had been tucked into a small black silk bag which had then been tied up and probably not opened for many many years by the look of it. -movie ticket from 1924 -theater ticket from 1924 -a dried flower -a wine cork -a cracked glass bead from a necklace of some sort -a lock of hair tied with string -a few dried flower petals (daisie) of various colour kept in a small box
Besides what was in the bag, there were the following items: -a faded picture of Leo and an older man outside a garage, some similarity suggests he's family, possibly her father or uncle -a key, old and slightly rusted, possibly to a vehicle (it looks handmade and is marked with a nr.1) -two wedding rings tied together with a red ribbon (they're engraved with her parents names) -two dried, small and carefully preserved flowers -a deformed bullet (meaning it had been shot and then retrieved)
And several other little bits and pieces which didn't look all that valuable, though they were obvious memorabilia of some sort, gathered through a long life. Little pieces of importance to the ghoul, be they good, like the picture. Or possibly bad, like the things sealed away in that little silk bag.

| She packed everything back up, and turned to the dog.
<beast speech> "Let's get you home. I'll come back and pack everything up later this week."

| He looked at her, then turned to get up and dragged a blanket that had been laying on the foot end of the bed, off the bed and turned to her while still holding it in his teeth. Obviously, that was going with him. Because it had the right scent. | |

| She nodded.
"Gather whatever else you want to bring with you while I gather the food and perishables. Okay?"

| The dog gave what was most likely the dog equivalent of a nod, though it didn't seem like he had much he wanted to bring. There was the blanket with Leo's scent, one of her work shirts from the laundry basket, both of which were tucked into his basket where an old chewed up teddy had already been placed. | |

| She picked up the bed, adding it to her pile as she headed down to the truck.
"Let's go home, Vinnie."

| He followed, but stopped at the top of the stairs to throw one last look at the apartment before lowering his head and walking down the stairs, blanket in his mouth, to get into the truck. | |

| She kept a hand on him while she drove to the ferry to home. Poor pup, she knew exactly how he felt.
