Time to get acquainted (Daytime/Thalion) - Darius and Crew

She reached up and petted his cheek.

"And I am caged, bound in gold, as I should be."

"Why should you be?" He wanted to understand, he could use her better if he knew her motivation.

She smiled.

"I am an oracle. I need the chains to function. I don't make decisions, Darius does. You do. I am at the whims of the visions."

"That must be a hard life. It's not like you chose to be an oracle right?"

She shook her head.

"No, but I wouldn't choose another life if I could. I do so much good."

"So you tell people your visions as you have them and their lives get better?"

She nodded.

"Yes. Though sometimes I can't. And that brings pain."

"Emotional pain from yourself or pain from... whatever gives you the visions?"

"Emotional. Is why I love physical pain."

"It distracts?"

She shook her head.

"Only kinda. But it's more real."

""Ah, it's your anchor then, hm? Keeping you here in our world."

She nodded and snuggled into his shoulder.

"Exactly. It's the golden cage I require."

"Ah, I understand now I think. I do not envy you though."

She nuzzled into his neck, kissing over his pulse.

"Not many would. But here, with you and Darius, I have all that I require. I want for nothing."

He grinned and bit her shoulder.

"We're like three puzzle peices."

She growled softly when he bit her shoulder, and sucked at his pulse point.

"Yes. We fit perfectly. Never leave me?"

"Never my darling." He promised. But we all know how Thalion promises went.

She purred and pulled him into a kiss. It wasn't so much a passionate kiss as it was a kiss that drew him in and clung to him. Made him an anchor.

He didn't mind, being needed fed into his own insanity. Like bred like after all.

She finally had to breathe, pulling away with a smile.

"What are your favorite foods."

"I like salad, low calories. Anything asian is good too."

She nodded.

"And favorite movies?"

"Moulan Rouge. I cry every time!"

She sighed.

"Good movie."
