Trouble for your Man (Henri) - Henri's Penthouse

She got out and started walking towards the front door, barely pausing. As if she expected it to open for her.

The door did indeed open as they approached, and awaiting inside stood Victor waiting for them.

As they entered, "Something must be most amiss, to have the two of you arriving at the same time?"

Areron bowed in greeting to Victor, but did not speak as she was relying on Henrietta to convey all the information. She knew Victor better than her after all.

The grim look on her face however did confirm the perceptive Warlock's assumptions.

She gave a short smile and a brisk nod.

"Yes. Saving you from the hassle of being declared Rogue and having to go to war against the Council much sooner than anticipated. We are not ready."

A raised brow as the door closed behind them. "I have no intention of going Rogue from my clan, nor declaring war upon them. Might I assume Grizelda has something to do with this flare up?"

A wave of his hand to the chairs provided, and he revealed no sign of concern on the matters presented. "Sit if you wish."

Areron shook her head.

"No, the clan is unhappy with her as well and have told me I could threaten her with removing her blood bond to Estaban her lover if she doesn't shape up."

"This is higher up than her."

She was just fine with sitting, and so she did, finding a chair.

"You are going to be asked to dissolve this Chantry, and be subservient to Griselda, by order of the Council, as you have not been reporting in. I find the reasoning laughable, as there has not been anything to report that we wish them to know about, but I know how rigid your clan can be. So, when Areron brought this to my attention, I thought it best to come and give the information to you. So that you can be prepared."

Areron nodded to Henrietta's words and also took a seat.

Walking slowly around the room in thought. "Perhaps it is time then that I send them a report." The metal talon on his finger slammed atop his cane at his agitation with what his clan had not bothered to report to him.

"Curious a complaint of my work comes through indirect means." Spoken calmly, yet with a rising agitation. "Neither of you should have reason to worry, I have more than enough means to challenge such changes. In a civil manner ofcourse." The claw tightened around the lead cast femur it held.

She snorted.

"I am aware. I am also aware that you work better with warning. Thus, our approach to you this evening. I am very happy that Areron came to me with this."

Areron breathed a sigh of relief. If Victor said he had it handled and he didn't want to go to war or anything, then everything was going to be perfectly fine.

"Griselda is going to ask about 'Blood Brothers'." It was clear that the way Areron said it, she wasn't sure what it meant entirely.

"Let her ask, they are no violation, meerly inconvient for those of lesser ambition."

A nod to Areron, "Indeed, You have served well in this regard, and your efforts appreciated." Seeing in that moment a greater measure of her character.

"And although I do appreciate that you understand the closeness of the relationship between myself and Henrietta, and her already extensive knowledge of our clan structure it is best if matters of the clan stay within the clan." Care for her or not, Henri was not Tremere, and the level of knowledge she had of the clan already bothered him enough, she did not need to be any more well informed.

She nodded.

"She came to me as she did not know how to bring this up to you."

"I know she's not of the clan. I just wasn't sure what the best way to say it to you was. I thought you'd be angry. But I was careful not to say secrets I didn't think she'd know."

"Raz0r knows the ritual that breaks blood bonds. Raz0r knows thaum." Areron said suddenly.

"Take a lesson from Henrietta then, when speaking too me, speak bluntly. Idle chatter is for manipulations, and I have been aware that RazOr has known thaum for quite some time, her domitor had known a fair amount as well, so it was not suprising. Though the depth of her knowledge on the otherhand..." He paused composing himself and the fury started to bubble up within him. "Is of concern, and shall be.. dealt with."

Part of him was most disappointed, he had become most comfortable with the calm that had settled in his heart these last few months. The rest of him felt refreshed at the surge of power that anger brought him.

"It's... disgusting to think that she of all people has this knowledge. I toiled for years without a hope of learning such things and have finally been blessed with a new embrace and can finally be a part of the clan as Joseph always wanted for me."

"Now I find out she has been learning for far longer than me. This ex-ghoul of a theif of our secrets. I wonder how much of it she learned from him."

Areron shook her head slowly, a cold fire burned behind her eyes.

She smiled.

"Do you wish us to add Raz0r to our list?"

"No... " Areron sighed.

She looked up to Victor. He knew, if she was considered clan, they couldn't. They would need permission. Something she wasn't sure about saying in front of Henrietta. She had to defer to him.

Still focused upon Areron. "torment breeds character. Cherish that the world fights your ambitions, it is that struggle that makes you strong."

A glance to Henri "Ohh. She was already on my list, just not a priority. Yet as with Ethan, she is one I shall attend to."

She nodded.

"Very well. I simply wished to know the young one's preference, as this is the first time we are in the same room together and are able to talk freely."

"Yes it is the first time, isn't it?" She smiled at Henrietta, clear admiration shone in her eyes.

"I agree with your wise words Victor. Without struggle no one would ever grow. Nothing would ever change. Every set back is an opportunity to become better." Repeating these words soothed her and she calmed down.

"Raz0r... she's not worth the time and she's kept in check by a contract. Even if her training is insulting. It doesn't endanger us."

"Ethan on the other hand is a very real problem. He is personally my primary concern at the moment."

Turning to Areron, as Henri already knew what he was about to say. His words darkening, "Ethan is a personal matter, he must suffer before he dies, allowed to watch as the city and the Prince he defends falls, before the reaper calls for him."

He knew there were risks inherant in vengence, yet passion cared little about risk.

The darkness passing, "But as we are all gathered and you have become quite involved, who do you desire purged from this domain?"

His steps brought him around the chairs and back before the two of them.

"Ethan for sure, the insufferable prick. Ms. Blue for not reporting information that would have helped clear Joseph's good name. Raz0r of course."

"Grant has already been killed, luckily. Mmm, that is all I can think of at the moment. Mrs. White Dove might be a potential. She's a snake, that one."

She smiled.

"And how is our Prince's wife a snake?"

"I don't know yet... I was talking with her the other day and she seems all sweet and crap. Too sweet if you get my meaning."

"She's say something that would peek my interest and when I inquired about it further she'd pretend to be all innocent and know nothing about the subject."

"Something about her is just... off putting. She's hiding something and I want to find out what. Also I get the impression she doesn't like me despite us hardly knowing each other."

"So I have no solid reasoning just yet. Hence me saying she's a potential. Someone to watch out for."
