She tilted her head at that.

"I have no idea of what?"

"What my thoughts are." with a nod to her and she took another slow deep breath.

She shook her head.

"No, I don't. That is why I phrase things the way I do."

She looked at her "It is foreign to me but that doesn't mean it is wrong." she said softly.

She smiled.

"But if you hurt him I will kill you." with a straight reply and nod to her with another sip of her cider.

She laughed at that.

"You will likely not find it odd when I repeat the threat at you."

'I've been here longer." she said bluntly.

She nodded.

"Doesn't mean I can't threaten to kill you if you hurt him. I am bound to him. I may not have the same naturally occurring feelings for him that you do, but I do love him already."

'And he you?" she asked softly.

She shrugged.

"That does not matter. He has already told me he will not likely love me. But he values me, and that is enough."

She nodded to her "And you do not desire more?"

She smiled.

"Of course I do. I am human. But I don't require more."

"Don't you feel you set your sights too low?" inquired with no judging but more curiosity.

She shook her head.

"My expectations are right where they can be realized. I find that is healthier. Anything above and beyond that is gravy."

She nodded again slowly "Any more questions for me?" she said honestly.

"What can I do to help make your life easier?"

"Nothing." she said with an assurance that is not boasting but fact.

She nodded.

"Will you tell me if that changes?"

'Yes." she said honestly "But right now I just add your groceries to my pick up and you stay inside so there is nothing I need to do for you." she said honestly.

She nodded.

"I will only leave when Darius wishes me to."

She shook her head.
