He shook his head.

"It is no th' Masquerade I'm concerned wi', lad. It's keepin' my Domain an' her citizens safe. There are a few others who reside near tha' neighborhood."

He frowned again, sitting back.

"Aye, go see Mist. She may know more."

He nodded. "Very well."

"Highness, on the other matter, you understand I will be required to take actions that would most assuredly not be accepted by many of your court?"

His brows rose.

"Dinna break th' Traditions. If ye anger anyone t' th' point of compensation, I'm sure tha' Harpy Fortunado would be happy t' handle tha' end of it. Dinna break th' Traditions, an' everyone's complaints will likely fall away."

He nodded. "Understood, highness."

He rose, and extended a hand to the Setite.

"I look forward t' workin' wi' ye."

He accepted the hand firmly. "And I, you, highness."

He nodded.

"We meet here when ye have things t' report. Is there anythin' else I can do for ye?"

He paused. "Your wife is having me follow up on the matter of the demon. I have attempted to speak to your Sheriff about it, but he has been... unhelpful, claiming that the matter is already being dealt with."

He smiled.

"Anton is an incredibly efficient Sheriff. Th' biggest reason he could no help Griselda at th' beach was tha' it appears tha' several places were hit that night, including my own Elysium. I have every confidence tha' if he says th' issue o' th' demon is bein' handled, it's in capable hands. I do appreciate th' attempt at assistance, though."

"Very well."

He paused. "How many of the conference rooms at the Regency are bugged?"

He chuckled.

"Currently, none. Why?"

"Always best to ask." the Setite quipped. "I expect to use them a good deal early on, as some will be unwilling to meet me in less secure locations."

He nodded.

"Aye. Please be careful wi' th' placements of such things. I expect ye t' do fine, lad. It's no an overnight process."

"Very well. Thank you, Highness."

He smiled again.

"Thank ye for your time, Mister White."

He bowed and left.
