She nodded softly. "I'll take anything at this point."

Teddy slipped an arm around Cassiel's waist so she could turn and allow them to walk again, side by side.

"Something is always better than nothing. You know I would appreciate it."

"Then we'll set up a get together soon, yeah? At least I can do that for you" Teddy said with a lingering gentle smile. "I know I'm not very useful, but hey, I try though" at least she tried.

"You're more useful than I am, but that's always been true," she smiled. "Call me when you're free?"

The blond nodded.
"Will do" she smiled and gave her a squeeze with the one arm that was around her waist. "And you call if anything yeah? Even if just to talk"

"I will," she said as she hugged Teddy once more. "Take care of him, okay?"

The Caitiff drew her breath and gave her a single nod.
"Always... always and forever" Teddy smiled softly. "My main purpose now" and in the best possible way.

"Let him take care of you, too," she said as she started to pull away.

The arm around her waist let go, perhaps a bit reluctantly, though she did let go, moving both arms to hug the bag to her chest again as she smiled at her. Teddy trusted her, so all she could do was hope and trust that she'd call if something happened, or if she needed her.

She gave the Caitiff a wave as she stepped back toward the curb, tucking her handkerchief back into her pocket. "Go home, get some rest and you'll hear from me soon!"
