The Champion and the Charlie Horse

"In the process.. gave Blake and Jonathan their first dose.." Her gaze narrowed some. "Your friend with the green eyes came here.. that dog.. he stole one of my girls, but no drugs."

Scion sighed.

"Rolf isn't... socialised," he said, "But he's loyal. She should be ok," he paused. "Pretty sure." He actually sounded a little worried about the girl.

He slowly molded his 'face' back together while he had turned away from her.

"I have to go," he said, twitching with some spasm of withdrawal, "Take care of them," he said, and began to walk toward the car.

Arms crossed over her chest, she watched him go, shaking her head. She didn't push any further though, watching until he drove away before stepping back into her little club.

Scion got into his car, dropped his keys once onto the floorboards, fished around for them and turned them in the ignition. The car rumbled to life. He backed out and rolloed out of the lot and into the night.
