Returning happy toreador (Alex, Jim, Cass & hum) - Gilded Cage

As the jeep pulled up she looked at Jim with a nod for him to get Cass as she listened to Alex.

And up into his arms with the Toreador. He made sure that her head was on his shoulder and he had her in a firm grip. At least she was feeling no pain?

"yes were bringing her up now." with a smile at Jim and clicked the phone closed.

"He asked if we were singing around a campfire and I said no. And he understands she's been well put to a happy place." with a smile at him. As she headed to the elevator to go up and then head to the penthouse elevator.

He looked baffled by that and followed her with the Toreador in his arms. "What tha fuck would we be singin' around a campfire for?"

"Camp fires are nice..." Nope, no pain. Just that happy place that all Toreador long to go.

'I have not a clue, and will you chill. I thought it was funny." with a smile at him.

"Oh so chill right now," she laughed. God this was such a good feeling!

He laughed. "I ain't upset, I'm confused."

"Welcome to my world." with a grin at him stepping off at the lobby to switch to the elevator to the penthouse.

He laughed and followed her. "Sounds fair."

Alex was waiting when the doors to the elevator slid open, "It was a nod to the cowboy, Jim."

he stepped forward, "I can take her," he smiled as he offered to take the Toreador off of McKay's hands... arms? Something like that.

He shook his head and laughed. "Seriously, dude. Do I look like tha campfire type ta you?" Okay, maybe he didn't want that answered. He handed over Cass and deposited her in Alex's arms and reached up to ruffle her hair. "Didn't mean ta break her. But it's tha good kinda breakin', so I figure ya ain't got a reason ta be pissed at me."

Greer slid an arm around Jim now that Cass was given to Alex "Really she needed to relax so we obliged her." with a grin at Alex.

Alex smiled down at Cass as he took her into his arms, "No worries, Jim. and thanks, guys."

Then he said to Cass, "Hi, honey. I take it you had a good time?" he laughed softly.

Cass made no fuss at the handover. Not that should would anyway. In fact... maybe her euphoria was still in super effect for her to even notice the different yet familiar arms around her. Through heavy eyes she looked up to Alex. "Oh! You're here!" Happy, happy. Joy, joy!

Oh... this was going to come back to haunt her, wasn't it?

"Have a good rest of your night Cass. Night Alex." with a smirk at him and hug of Jim "Shall we?"

He laughed and gave Cass and Alex a wave. "Night, guys." His arm slid around Greer and he steered her toward the elevator again. "Of course we shall."

Cass gave Jim and Greer a wave-- er, hand flop. Yes, definitely a flop. "I'll send flowers," she said in a sing-song voice.

Oh, yeah... Alex was there! The night just kept getting better and better! Such a goofy little smile.

Alex smiled as he made a mental note that too much of a good thing was like morphine for Toreador. He gave a friendly nod to Jim and Greer, seeing as his hands were preoccupied in the holding of Cass.

"Have a good night, guys. I'll catch up to you once things have calmed down."

Then to Cass he said, "I think we're going to take you up stairs and put you to bed. Comfortable beds and cuddly men I hear are good things."

"Good plan," she grinned a goofy grin again. He was right, it kind of was like morphine. Though it did make her a bit cuddly, to say the least. Which was a good thing, right? The happy drunk was happy.
