The letter was addressed to Charlie, and it was a slightly ominous, one-line sentence. It didn't do much to alleviate any worries.

A low growl escaped the youth as he pulled the lighter from his back pocket and, with the flick of his wrist, brought it to life as he held the letter up in front of him while he made his way towards the kitchen. He'd set it on fire and leave it to burn out in the sink.
The Hell he was to be associated with any of his kind.

The paper burned, and there was nothing left but scorched ash in the sink when he was finished.

He gathered the most important things: a teddy bear from his bedroom, a photo album, the flash drive from his safe and a few other choice items.
The rest he would hire people to pack and send. Most likely scattering it among a few choice locations throughout Europe.
With the most important things retrieved though, he grabbed his bag and left.
