He reached under the child's arms to lift her from the water, letting her drip into the tub.

"Apparently, Catholic truly means 'stodgy bastard wi' nay concept o' th' world' t' 'em."

She snorted as she wrapped the towel around Rhiana and began rubbing her down, actually managing not to tickle.

"Ye're Scottish, how stodgy can ye be."

He laughed.

"Apparently, lots."

Grace leaned in to rub noses with Rhiana while she rubbed down her hair.

"Well, they'll learn different after one night o' me teasin' 'em."

He couldn't help but laugh as he reached for a towel to dry his own dripping face.

Rhiana giggled again, then leaned over to kiss Grace's cheek.

"Aye. But dinna give them too much o' a hard time. I ken tha' Medwyn, at least, is a wee bit embarrassed by it."

She returned Rhiana's kiss, then pulled a pink sundress with ponies on it from a cupboard, pulling it over the little girl's head.

"I'll do my best t' nay tease 'em too much."

He laughed again.

"I do think Medwyn would like t' forget it happened."

He then picked up a brush, and began to run it through the spider-silk that was Rhiana's hair with gentle hands.

Grace grabbed a towel and dried herself off as best she could.

"Aye, well, then he shouldna have allowed th' booze t' affect him so."

He laughed as he pulled the child's hair back again, pulling her into his lap as he sat down to complete the brushing.

"Nay. He should nay let th' lass affect him so. It's nay just at th' party."

Grace chuckled.

"Dinna take offence t' this, but askin' a man t' nay allow a woman t' affect him like tha' is askin' pigs t' fly."

He laughed as he completed the task of making Rhiana's hair quite pretty and dry. Then he began to use the brush and dampness of the hair, using his fingers to make it curl.

"Aye, I ken tha'. I was referrin' t' th' fact tha' it were nay th' booze."
